Who is Courageous

In 1998 Courageous began teaching art for a program sponsored by the College For Creative Studies. The art program was created to provide art instruction to under served communities through out Detroit, Michigan and surrounding areas. Courageous has also teamed up with a non profit organization to clean and beautify the community. With the help of teams of volunteers, several murals now stand as a testament of art serving as a catalyst for community engagement and empowerment.   

After years of teaching art in public schools and working alongside of non profits, Courageous Art Paint Parties was born. The list of clients includes AT&T, Kaiser Permanente, senior communities and various other businesses and school systems.  Courageous has been teaching and creating transformative, thought provoking art for more than 30 years. His work has been shown and sold in numerous museums and galleries nation wide.
